I’m blessed with an amazing group of friends in my life. No matter how long the time stretches between our visits together, we pick up exactly where we left off. I feel that at this point in my life I appreciate friendship more then I ever have before. Often times I think we look at our friends as these perfect little dolls we want to play house with, dress up, or enjoy tea parties with. But the moment they become something we didn’t write into our storybook, we question their roles in our fairy tale. You realize as you get older, though, that people are human, they make mistakes, and their imperfections make them perfect in every way. I’m thankful for the women who have been brought into my life to walk out every season, forgive me when I screw up, and celebrate life’s most important moments with genuine joy.
Every fall, I love to get together with my friends and celebrate Thanksgiving in some way, shape, or form. We have done Thanksgiving dinners, fall walks, coffee dates, etc. This year I decided to throw an “I’m thankful for you” brunch at my house. I had some exciting news to share with my friends, and I wanted to put lots of detail into the morning together. To the lovely friends who were not able to make this day, you were missed.

Goal of Exercise:
The Tricep rope press down is a great way to develop strength and definition in your arms. It also helps to strengthen your back muscles as you press and pull your shoulders down and back. The abs are working constantly as you stabilize the body, so make sure to keep a tight core and breathe throughout the exercise.
As the Holidays approach and sweet treats start to find their way onto your coffee tables, it’s important to have a solid library of healthy dessert options. My plan, this week, is to set you up for success! Tonight’s dessert post is simple, delicious and also makes the perfect hostess gift for any parties you are going to attend. Enjoy~~*
These measurements make a large batch, which I like to put away for any last-minute gifts.
- 1 Cup coconut oil
- 1 Cup raw cacao powder
- 2 Tsp vanilla bean
- 1 Tsp maca powder
- 1/2 Cup raw honey or maple syrup
- Sea salt to flavour
- and Candy Canes to top
Melt your first five ingredients together in a double boiler. Once all ingredients are throughly mixed, spread mixture on parchment paper. Sprinkle with sea salt and top with as many crushed candy canes as you like. Place in freezer for 20-30 minutes to set. Serve with your favourite red wine or a delicious cup of java.

10 Minute Warm Up
Equipment – Free Weights
Do each exercise until failure then move on to the next. If you have only completed 20 push ups, you will continue your push ups in the next round. Once you have completed the circuit with as many reps as possible for each exercise, you will either row 500 meters or run 500 meters. You will complete a 500 meter run or row after each circuit.

30 Pull Ups
15 Bicycle Crunches
500 Meter run
