Get your ball rolling



Good morning! And welcome to your morning of fresh starts and healthy eating….Right? I know we were all perfect over the weekend right?! I think for most of us the weekend is a challenge to keep up with out healthy eating. We are invited to BBQ’s, pool parties, weddings and don’t forget patio drinks! Instead of stressing over a weekend of food and drinks, set yourself up with healthy snacks that are going to keep you fueled and help you resist whatever your temptation of choice maybe. And what about all the summer drinks? Well I’m a strong believer in moderation but I also believe people need to live, be social and not miss out on the occasional patio drink because your stressing about putting on that bikini. It’s actually scientifically proven that when we stress out over taking a break from our healthy eating we actually elevate our cortisol levels and cause our bodies to store fat. So lets all relax a little, have a glass of wine or that treat you have been dreaming about (on occasion.) 

And when your not treating yourself, here are some power packed little balls to enjoy!





My friend Tasha, recently hooked me up with this delicious recipe.

These little guys take about 5 minutes to make and will satisfy that sweet tooth while giving you energy for your next workout.



1 cup raw almond butter

1/2 cup raw honey

1/4 cup hemp seeds

1/4 cup chia seeds

1/2 cup chopped dates

1/2 cup apricots

1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks


Mix all ingredients together

Pour 1/2 cup coconut o flat surface

roll balls in coconut till covered. 

These balls can be stored in the fridge for 7 days or placed in freezer for longer storage!
